DJ Dead, 28 year old Hip-Hop Producer and DJ has worked hard to perfect his craft with limited resources and a huge focus on a back to basics mentality.The artists he credits with influencing his passion for Hip-Hop music and culture include Pete Rock, J-Dilla, 9th Wonder, Exile, Hi-Tek, and MF Doom.  For the past 8 years he has worked as a producer and remix artist. His work with Arima Ederra was featured on top music blogs throughout the U.S. and the UK,including OkayPlayer, 2DopeBoyz, Kevin Knottingham and Potholesinmyblog. His work with artists include Arima Ederra, Trade Voorhees, Toxsikk, Hack the Mack and with Jay89 as the production team Vinyl Goons.   When he's not in the studio, you can find DJ Dead on stage playing Live Drum Machine sets with his MPC 2000XL and a Roland SP-404, in Las Vegas and internationally with the Come Correct Crew in Shanghai.   With 8 years of live DJ experience. He loves spinning records from the 90’s golden age to present day hip-hop, rap, house and trap music. He has played multiple DJ sets at venues like Hard Hat Lounge, Beauty Bar and Brooklyn Bowl LV and has had the privilege of opening for Jonwayne (StonesThrow) and Ghostface Killah & Raekwon. Was a 2 year resident DJ and promoter for Civilian clothing’s monthly event “Sunday Riots”sponsored by Red Bull.    He is the founder and curator of “Beat Makers Social”which is the only multi-genre performing platform for producers of all ages in the Las Vegas area. Whether DJ Dead is in the studio, on-stage or helping others pursue their dreams, his passion for his art comes down to one thing, the music.
