Sober Rob曾就读于伯克利音乐学院，从八岁开始演奏中提琴，在过去的几年里，他一直把这种古典背景融入到他目前的创作风格中，有时，Sober Rob的音乐听起来像一台腐朽的机器，试图像人一样说话，把扭曲的、断断续续的吱吱声与闪烁的同步音和沉重的低音结合在一起，所有这些都以迷人的、旋律优美的和声作为支撑。

Sober Rob attended Berklee College of Music and has been playing viola since he was eighteen years old. Over the course of the past few years, he's been incorporating this classical background into his current style of production. At points, Sober Rob's music sounds like a corroding machine trying to speak like a human, combining distorted and sporadic squeaks with glitchy synths and heavy basses, all backed up with engaging and melodic harmonies.

Difficult to find your way in this whole abundant wave of Future Beats. Fortunately, there are some producers who stand out by their musical intelligence and originality : Sober Rob is one of them. His music sounds beautiful and powerful and, at other times, heavy and almost dirty. Sober Rob understood everything : he knows how to alternate graceful masterpieces and huge bangers, what makes him a singular author and DJ.

Sober Rob can already be proud of his actual career. Great collaborator of Alexander Lewis, Oshi, Masego, Deffie or Pham, his ‘Enlighten’ EP released last year represents all his know-how and was a great success. Moreover, his many tracks (sometimes signed to labels like Elysian Records) show his capacity to illustrate himself as well into Trap world as Jazzy universe. A versatile asrtist who has not finished astonishing us.
