在中国农历春节之后，Konekt Asia即将带来系列的第21位电子音乐人：Esther Duijn。来自荷兰，她是一位极富魅力的House/Techno DJ/制作人，她以开阔而不拘一格的唱片挑选和在柏林俱乐部Tresor的驻场演出而广为人知。

在荷兰广袤和丰富的电子音乐文化场景中成长，Esther Duijn开放自由的生活态度和女性视角的情感关怀，她塑造了以House/Techno为主线的前卫电子音乐的印象体系，作为DJ/制作人，尤其是在阿姆斯特丹和柏林两地令人称道。

她与长时间好友Steady Douglas以Duijn & Douglas发行了超过20张黑胶唱片，从Fred P的Soul Peoeple Music，德国厂牌Housewax, Nowar和Feelharmonic等等。 2016年，她把运营的活动品牌Another Earth升格为唱片发行厂牌，输出了来自Myles Serge, Opuswerk, Lee Holman等等制作人的佳品。Esther Duijn的作品往往能体现House/Techno音乐中deep & raw的本真品质，没有边界的音乐尝试中，亦有Hip Hop/ Funk音乐影响的玩味乐趣。

2017年，Resident Advisor将她带往澳大利亚，出演RA全新概念活动VS Shows与Skatebard三场B2B对手好戏。作为DJ的她，不仅演出Panorama Bar, Trouw, De School, Sisyphos，在Tresor的长期驻场和活动组织，和不久前在柏林举办的前卫情色/LGBT艺术活动系列Pornceptual的精彩演出，融合acid house, ghettotech, electro, disco, dub techno的独特DJ演绎，给予舞客不可替代的听觉享受。

After the Chinese New Year, Konekt Asia is bringing in the 21st electronic musician: Dutch-born Esther Duijn, a DJ with a reputation as one of the most enthralling selectors around. She's played prestigious events like Freerotation, as well as landing a residency at the mighty Tresor in Berlin.

Esther Duijn’s sound is characterised by the deep and solid side of techno and house music. Growing up in The Netherlands shaped Esther’s music as she absor- bed the rich Dutch scene of the time.

Having released on labels like Fred P’s Soul People Music, German Housewax and Portuguese Exquisite Music, solo and also with her long-time production partner Steady Douglas as „Duijn & Douglas“, Duijn has shown her skill as a producer and a DJ, with over 20 (vinyl) releases under her belt.

This has not gone unnoticed by the scene, earning her regular DJ slots at the mighty Tresor in Berlin and appearances at De School, UNTER NYC, Freerotati- on Festival, Gare Porto, Gegen / KitKatClub, Sisyphos, Panoramabar and Trouw, along with countless other clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond. September 2017 Resident Advisor asked her for their VS concept where they pair up two talented and likeminded Djs for all-night back-to-back sessions. They tea- med her up with Skatebård and shipped them off to Australia for a nationwide tour.

Esther’s running a label, podcast series & event called “Another Earth” where she invited artists like German master Moritz Von Oswald, Tom Ellis & Anton Zap.

The label features artists like Myles Serge, Duijn & Douglas, Hakim Murphy, Plural, Opuswerk, Lee Holman and herself of course.

Esther loves to mix the old, the new, the rare, the deep and the raw parts of elec- tronic dance music to brilliant effect, never compromising on the groove. Main- taining a steady ow while staying true to the roots of Chicago house and Detroit techno. Esther also draws in uence from acid house & techno, ghettotech, elec- tro, disco and dub techno, having collected vinyls for over a decade now.

Duijn cites her in uences as SoulPhiction, Fred P., G-Man, Robert Hood, Dela- no Smith, Steve O’Sullivan, Daniel Bell, Cosmin TRG, Zip and Jeff Mills, amongst others.
