DJ MAG排行12位的印裔美籍艺人：KSHMR(原名Niles Hollowell-Dhar)，作为美国南加州的伯克利的印籍移民，他的音乐里面始终流淌着纯粹独特迷人的南亚血液，先后登上Sunburn，Ultra Miami，Coachella，EDC Las Vegas，Tomorrowland等众多国际大型音乐节。
Ranked at No.12 on DJ MAG, Indian American artist, KSHMR (Real name: Niles Hollowell-Dhar) grew up as an indian immigrant in Berkeley in South California. You can always feel that unique South Asia vibe in his music. He has played many international music festivals such as Sunburn，Ultra Miami，Coachella，EDC Las Vegas，Tomorrowland, etc.
2011年在KSHMR还是以“Cyrano”身份活动的时候，作为一个Ghost Producer身份参与制作了当年的大热新单《Like a G6》。后来和好友Campa组成的组合The Cataracs组合解散后，Niles开始以KSHMR的名义，开始了个人的制作之路。他以Ghost Producer的身份，与R3hab,Dallask等等的DJ合作，他开始从中慢慢的摸索出了结合南亚风格与EDM的微妙平衡点。
In the guise of ghost producer, he was involved in the production of the hit “Like a G6” in 2011, when he was under the name “Cyrano”. After the split of The Cataracs, a group he formed with good friend Campa, Niles started to produce music under the name of KSHMR. He collaborated with R3hab and Dallask as a ghost producer, from which he found the balance between South Asia style and EDM.
他的众多个人单曲，如《Megalodon》，《Dead Mans Hand》，《Jammu》等等先后登上了Beatport榜单前列。与Firebeatz合作的《No Heroes》，与R3hab合作的《Karate》以及《Strong》，与TIËSTO合作的《Secrets》， 与Carnage和Timmy Trumpet合作的《Toca》，以及和Bassjackers合作的《Memories》等等等等这些耳熟能详的歌曲均在各大榜单揽下了奖项！
His hit singles such as 《Megalodon》，《Dead Mans Hand》，《Jammu》etc ranked high on Beatport chart. Hits like “No Heroes” with Firebeatz, “Karate” and “Strong” with R3hab, “Secrets” with TIËSTO, “Toca” with Carnage and Timmy Trumpet, “Memories” with Bassjackers all scooped many awards on big charts.
在做了几年Ghost制作人后， KSHMR 展现出了更具民族化和差异化的音乐风格，融合了最流行的Electro House以及Big Room风格，制作出了属于自己的“KSHMR Style”。KSHMR的音乐套路很杂，但是混合后营造出独有的南亚风情，开头一段大气的管弦乐，管风琴，俄罗斯手风琴，dodok，bansuri，西塔琴都会成为过渡的通常使用乐器，复杂的音色营造出来的南亚风格造就了一首首脍炙人口的作品。
After many years of being a Ghost producer, KSHMR’s music started to show nationalized and different music style. Mixing with trendy electro house and big room styles, he created his own “KSHMR Style”. His music structure is complex, but after mixing it bears an special South Asia vibe: grand orchestral sound in the intro, organ, Russian organ, dodok, bansuri, Sitar are the most used instruments you hear in the transitions. Those complicated sounds help to add a taste of South Asia to his music.
2015年对于他来说是一个非常重要的一年，在这年TIËSTO的Ultra Music Festival的现场表演时，TIËSTO放了KSHMR与TIËSTO的火红新曲，"Secrets"，在全球各地的爱好者们的注视下，KSHMR终于首次走上幕前，并与TIËSTO一起以B2B的形式让所有观众记住了这个独特的音乐制作人。在那之后，Sunburn，Ultra Miami，Coachella，EDC Las Vegas，Tomorrowland等众多国际大型音乐节都纷纷邀请其成为自己main stage的座上宾，甚至国内的知名音乐厂牌之前也邀请其来华演出。
2015 is an important year to him, where he played the hit “Secrets" he made with TIËSTO at Ultra Music Festival. For the first time, he played b2b TIËSTO which made every audience remember him. Since then, big festivals such as Sunburn，Ultra Miami，Coachella，EDC Las Vegas，Tomorrowland, etc. all invited him to play main stage. Some famous record labels in China invited him to China to play too.
Spinnin’ Records可不会错过这一个千载难逢的机会，在Spinnin’ Records的协助下，KSHMR自己的成立了新厂牌Dharma Worldwide! 而Dharma在他苦心经营下，TIËSTO、DIMITRI VEGAS&LIKE MIKE、REEZ、BREATHE CAROLINA、HARDWELL、SNAILS等如今大名鼎鼎的DJ们都在Dharma下参与了作品制作，高产量的作品赢得了观众的喜爱。
Spinnin’ Records will never let such chance slip away! With the help of Spinnin’ Records, KSHMR established his own label Dharma Worldwide! Putting lots of effort in running the business, he collaborated with the likes of TIËSTO、DIMITRI VEGAS&LIKE MIKE、REEZ、BREATHE CAROLINA、HARDWELL and SNAILS. His works with them were well received by the audience.
